A Holiday spirit of giving was in full swing this week as VALLEYLIFE’s Bernice Kussell Society hosted two winter celebrations! Both events centered around raising funds and collecting holiday gifts for VALLEYLIFE Members.
The first event, hosted on Wednesday, December 4th, at the Thunderbirds Charities Bistro, invited guests to campus to enjoy lunch, some holiday activities, and learn more about what was new with the organization. But the true holiday magic came when the VALLEYLIFE Glee Club performed a medley of holiday classics at the conclusion of the event.
On Thursday, December 5th, a larger group of Bernice Kussell Society members gathered at the home of Marlena Krueger and Mark Petrucciani to celebrate with live music and a festive meal. Throughout the evening, a live auction was held to raise funds for Members’ needs. In addition, attendees were asked to bring a pair of pajamas that would be gifted to Members over the holiday season.
