Steve McKamey

Chair

Steve McKamey has been a member of the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors since 2010 and is the President/Designated Broker of Pro Star Realty. Mr. McKamey has held an active Real Estate Broker License since 1982. He specializes in the listing and sales of residential and commercial properties, asset management, and property management.   Mr. McKamey has held seminars on residential sales and commercial sales, and has conducted large property marketing sessions. He is certified in many areas of real estate and is a member of the National Association of Realtors.

Heather Winters Bull

Vice Chair

Heather Winters Bull was elected to the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in July of 2013. Ms. Winters Bull is the Principal Fiduciary and Owner of The Families Advocate, LLC. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from Northern Arizona University and has been an Arizona Supreme Court Licensed Fiduciary since 2001. Ms. Winters Bull is also a National Certified Guardian and has dedicated her life to the service of vulnerable communities, participated on numerous legislative committees, presented educational seminars, and developed accounting and reporting programs to promote administrative transparency and efficiency in the management of client estates.

James Wuensche

Treasurer 

James Wuensche joined the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in August 2017 after previously participating on the VALLEYLIFE Advisory Board. Mr. Wuensche has considerable expertise in the areas of finance, accounting, and general management. Mr. Wuensche previously held the positions of Assistant Treasurer at a Fortune 5 financial services subsidiary; Treasurer of a Fortune 250 company; and Executive Vice President of a real estate development firm.

Amy Coblentz

Secretary

Amy Coblentz was elected to the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in June of 2020. Mrs. Coblentz is the owner of AmeriCapital, an Arizona Mortgage Banker that specializes in commercial real estate lending and assisting harder-to-place borrowers with their loans.

Marc J. Garcia

Director

Marc J. Garcia joined the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in September of 2022. He is President and CEO of Visit Mesa, the destination marketing organization for the City of Mesa, Arizona and the surrounding region, creating the City Limitless brand promise in early 2013. His experience includes 25 years of community building while working with neighboring communities and DMOs; visitor industry partners and stakeholders; municipal, county and state governments; lobbying support for brand protection and tourism funding; and serving on various industry and local boards.

In 2019, Garcia led Visit Mesa to become the nation’s first Autism Certified City, according to the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) through which over 5,000 people who either live or work in Mesa have received autism awareness training. More recently, Marc has worked with various organizations to make Mesa the nation’s most accessible city.

Marc earned his B.A. in Political Studies from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. He and his wife, Jennifer, have three children.

Alisa Randall

Director

Alisa Randall Joined the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in September of 2023. Alisa brings with her over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field, working in leadership roles for organizations such as Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) and Mercy Care, just to name a few. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northern Arizona University in 1997, she returned to her alma mater to receive her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology in 2003.

Gena Johnson

Director

Gena Johnson joined the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in September of 2023.

Born and raised on a Wisconsin dairy farm, Gena's first project was coordinating the color of her pencil case with her dress, for the first day of grade school. She went on to earn a BA in Interior Design with an emphasis on commercial design and furniture. 
In a career spanning over four decades, Gena has won numerous awards which are a testament to her dedication and ability to satisfy and delight clients by working closely with them from the project start to finish. While keeping clients' wants and needs in mind, she has designed, implemented, and created functional, as well as aesthetically pleasing environments for companies ranging in size from 5-5,000 employees, in the corporate, senior living, healthcare and behavioral health communities. 
Her most recent charitable work has been with VALLEYLIFE, H.E.L.P, Arizona Foundation for Women, YWCA, OCJ Kids, United Way, Gabriel's Angels, Women's Enterprise Foundation, and the Alzheimer's association. 
Other positions include active church work, missionary trips, and a board member of her church.

Haley Bodea

Director

Haley Bodea was elected to the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in May 2024. Haley brings a wealth of knowledge as a doctor of occupational therapy with certifications in trauma and autism spectrum disorders. Haley started her own company, Thriving Therapies, LLC, where she provides trauma-informed occupational and feeding therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities within the comfort of their own homes or in the community. Haley also created a new therapeutic model of community-based home health by providing services within a tiny home in the historic district of downtown Chandler, Arizona, to create a functional space for clients to practice and learn independent living skills. Outside of her work enriching the lives of others, she can be found mentoring doctoral students during their clinical rotations, conducting research with Northern Arizona University on emotional regulation and family-centered stress management, and spending time with her husband and their pets including a baby tortoise, Quacker parrot, and Bernese Mountain Dog.

Leane Owen

Director

Leane Owen joined the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors in January of 2025. She is a marketing veteran with nearly 30 years of experience in design and marketing, having successfully developed and executed transformative marketing strategies for numerous brands and companies. With a strong focus on driving growth and elevating brands, Leane has a proven track record in both regional and national-level market expansion.

Throughout her career, Leane has played an instrumental role in helping companies navigate complex marketing landscapes, from her leadership in the specialty construction products industry to her extensive experience in corporate marketing, communications, and web and application development. As the former owner of Arizona Polymer Flooring (APF), she propelled the company from a regional entity to a nationwide competitor, all while maintaining a commitment to innovation and excellence.

Leane’s diverse background also includes teaching graphic design at Clark University and offering customized marketing strategies through her consultancy, Custom Formulated. Her passion for helping small businesses grow has made her a trusted advisor. 

Now serving on the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors, Leane continues to use her wealth of experience to provide leadership and valuable insights for the growth of the organization.

Cletus Thiebeau

President & Chief Executive Officer

Cletus Thiebeau started his career with VALLEYLIFE in 1996 as a member of the VALLEYLIFE Board of Directors. In 2003, he accepted the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his work at VALLEYLIFE, Cletus had a distinguished career in the commercial financial services industry working with both national and international companies.

Cletus received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance at Florida State University, and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

When asked how he feels about his work at VALLEYLIFE, Cletus stated, "I have the best job in the world. I get the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people every day."

Donna Cordova

Chief Financial Officer

Donna Cordova joined VALLEYLIFE as Chief Financial Officer in 2021. She has worked in the accounting and finance fields with non-profits, for-profit companies, and state and local governments.Since 2017, Donna served as the Controller for the Arizona Dental Association, which represents over 2,000 licensed dentists in the state. Prior to that, she held the position of Controller for the Salt River Materials Group, a manufacturer of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and recycled coal combustion products. Donna also worked at the Salt River Financial Institution, which provides lending and mortgage services.Donna holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
